Finley's first day of Montessori and the first time in her school career (3yrs) she has gone without Beau. It didn't even phase her...she's one of the "big kids" this year!
She is still refusing to part with the spidey shirt, despite the obvious size issue.
TJ and CJ heading out for school patrol. This picture makes me think of Greg and Rowley in D.O.W.K when they are on the Safety Patrol...so funny!
Post game talk from Husband after a game vs. Tonasket.
Football weather has been AMAZE this year...I'd take smoke filled air over freezing anytime!
Finley's first dance class! My life is complete...finally GIRLY ACTIVITIES!!! I had so much fun...oh, I mean...she had so much fun!
Finley and Kinsey after their first practice. They were pretty much so hilarious I could hardly stand it. Kisney hasn't met a mirror she doesn't like and is always entertaining. I am SO glad I haven't cut Finley's hair...she has the perfect bun!
Homecoming week was very early at OHS and Husband participated in the daily dress up days. 80's day to HS kids is like 60's was to us when we were in HS. We are so old! Thankfully he's married to someone with a collection of wigs (mullet for this day) and appropriate 80's attire...aka...fanny pack. The jacket was his dad's coaching jacket from the 80's...silky satin with the elastic wrist bands.
DQ treats before heading to open house at school!
Ice cream and soda for dinner..perfect!
Halle and Beau at open house!
Britt and I arrived home after last Friday's game to 4 children dead asleep across the couch...Finley was totally covered by blankets and they were piled on top of each other.
Half on the couch...half off...but totally asleep.
They stayed this way while mom's had wine and dad's enjoyed a few daddy-pops. Kyle had fun getting them to the car.
September 24, 2012....our boy is 7!
Love this kid so much!
Beau and TJ are totally TOTALLY into WWE right now...it's a giant obsession and our DVR is jammed with hours of it. In the process of sitting and watching it with them...with my finger on the ff button of the remote...I've gotten a teensy bit hooked. It's a sad day. I actually had a conversation with a 4th grader about CM Punk and John Cena...really terrible. Beau's b-day was a Monday and he really wanted KFC (I swear!) My mom offered to host since her house is less frantic (and actually clean) during the school week. In true Nana fashion she bought the KFC chicken and then made homemade mashed potato's, beans, biscuits, coleslaw. I thought she was crazy since buying it is way easier...but she couldn't bring herself to do it.
Hours of fun for Beau!
We are so lucky for such a great Nana and Grandpa!
We are still eating ice cream cake!
