Read It!

This month my book club read Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn {Loved it!!!} and I hosted. I've pretty much been the lamest book club member for the past few months as finishing a book has been nearly impossible. I end up just going to drink wine and visit with my friends. We have so much fun catching up on everyones's happenings and having time away from all the duties of work, family and kids.

I told myself I had to finish this book since I'm hosting...and I needed to be able to actually talk about it. I ended up really enjoying the story and we had some good talks about the CRA-CRA characters. One of my book club pals is preggers and due any second, so we made this months gathering a 'Book Shower!' I totally recommend this because it's so special to share your favorite children's books with people!

Our conversations always stay lighthearted and we never forget to discuss how good or bad the book would be as a movie...and who should play the characters. For this book we picked Reese Witherspoon and James Franco for Amy and Nick; maybe Zac Efron if he could appear older. We are highly academic and focused in book club.
